Videora Apple TV Converter is a free video converter for Windows. The application allows you to convert video files into two different formats: H.264 and MPEG-4 in the MP4 container. There is support for a variety of video formats as input, and chances are that most modern formats are supported. I know for a fact that MKV, FLV, AVI, MP4, and MOV files are supported. All the Videora converters share the same engine, so format support is similar in all of them.

This converter is HTML-based and it has two different conversion modes. The first mode, "normal mode", is a sort of 1-click mode. It doesn't really ask you much and you can click on "next" a few times without changing any settings and the conversion will go smoothly. The expert mode allows you to customize the conversion process more.

The application is absolutely free. Thus, you will see annoying ads all over the user interface. Most of them aren't very intrusive, but there are some ads with sounds that can really hit a nerve.

In terms of performance, the application does a great job of converting to H.264 and MPEG-4. I didn't notice anything wrong with the conversion process itself. There is an error that pops up if you don't change the default output path for your files. Once you change that, the error won't bother you anymore.

Note: when you have more than one Videora converters installed, somehow only one of them can be run. I found this problem in all the Videora converters that I have tried.
